| My daughter attempted to get an EPO for her child. There was a domestic in the home of her ex spouse and his gf. The child saw the abuse, has been in therapy for months for aggression toward others, anger and other issues. CPS is involved. Goodwin would not allow CPS to testify, none of the records from therapy were admitted and she wouldn’t even consided the DVO resulting from the incident from Shelby county that requires mental evaluations. He has 4th degree assault and child abuse charges in Shelby county. She denied the EPO and kept his custody. Thank goodness for CPS! -Anonymous |
