I have a similar story as the ones you have posted and while I wish to remain anonymous, I don’t want any other parent to endure the trauma of open-court testimony against an abuser and then have said abuser get equal rights with not even a reprimand. I also had an EPO refused, which is completely irresponsible when childrens’ safety is involved. CPS was assigned, but that does zero. My boys are now teens, and working through years of trauma which could have been avoided if Judge Goodwin had made a different decision many years ago. Not to mention, her verdict took over 3 months to return, which seems like forever when trying to keep kids stable and positive.
